What is Greening Out?

The great thing about using marijuana is that there are not a lot of risks involved. Most people don’t necessarily think of the fact that marijuana is a very natural drug and is generally risk free, especially when compared to something like synthetic drugs or alcohol. However, marijuana is not without its array of side effects.

After all, cannabis is a drug and is used to alter your body and mind in particular ways. It would be impossible for a substance like marijuana to not have some side effects. You have probably heard before that it is basically impossible to fatally overdose on marijuana – and this is true. There has never been a fatal case of someone consuming too much marijuana. In order to do this, one would have to consume such an alarming amount of weed in such a short time that it is basically not possible for humans to do.

But keep in mind that, just because you can’t overdose on marijuana, doesn’t mean that it is impossible to have too much. In fact, anyone that has a prominent history of using marijuana has probably experienced what happens when you have too much weed. The popular term for this is called greening out, which is basically what happens when someone gets too high. If you have experienced this at some point in your life, you probably hated it.

Greening out is no fun, but it is almost like a right of passage for people that smoke a lot of weed. Similar to when one first starts consuming alcohol, you kind of need to discover your own limits and decide for yourself what your body and mind can take. Today I wanted to talk about how you can tell if you have smoked too much weed and what you can do to try and mitigate some of the symptoms of greening out. I hope that this article is helpful for you!

One of the first signs that you may experience with too much THC in your system is nausea. You may be dealing with some mild nausea that just leaves you feeling uncomfortable and queezey – in other cases, you might be dealing with some severe stomach pain and end up throwing up in the toilet. It all depends on how much THC you have had and what you can handle. In most cases, you will probably just spend a few hours on the floor of your bathroom and maybe over the toilet.

However, if you end up with uncontrollable vomiting and nausea that will not go away, you may need to go to the hospital or emergency room in order to get help. Keep in mind that THC is a drug and that it should be handled with care, especially if you are not used to smoking some really potent concentrates.

Another symptom of greening out is dizziness. It is not uncommon to experience some dizziness when smoking weed, especially if you have  nice high going. Some dizziness can actually be pleasant. However, too much weed can cause some pretty bad dizziness and lightheadedness that is not pleasant whatsoever. You might run into some waves of dizziness that are so intense that you don’t even want to move. There are a lot of resources online for how you can manage some dizziness, but if it’s something that you experience every time you use cannabis, you should probably consider consulting a doctor or medical professional.

Another symptom of smoking too much weed or getting too hgh is anxiety and paranoia. Most people associated marijuana with decreased feelings of anxiety, which is fairly accurate. However, there are times when greening out can lead to increased anxiety as well.
