What THC lube Is 

This is pretty much a lube that’s infused with cannabis. It’s made to improve your sex life. It can have sex feel better and improve your sex drive. It’s primarily THC that’s sourced from cannabis, but it also comes with an oil to work as the base and improve its effectiveness. This oil helps with improving the absorption of THC. Tea tree oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter are some of the more popular options. How it Differs 

There are a few differences between this and regular lube. First, you’ve got consistency.  While there are some that are like a normal lube, others are much more oily. There are also CBD lubes. The primary difference is well, the cannabis that’s in there. Some do offer a mixture, with CBD being made like the THC lubes, but this comes with cannabinoid oil instead.  CBD lube is available within all 50 states, so long as it’s got low concentrations of THC within this. THC of course, is not.

The Effects 

Obviously, the difference is going to be the psychoactive compounds that are in there, which are great for making you feel “high.” But unlike smoking weed, you don’t actually feel the same effects with THC lube. It’s not directly absorbed within your bloodstream, but instead the membranes within. What this does, is that it can improve sensitivity, as it’s stimulating to offer more blood flow to those areas. 

Right now, the current research on this does tie in the endocannabinoid receptors, and your sexual health and wellness.  Cannabis can help with improving sexual arousal, desire, pleasure, and satisfaction. It’s good for vaginal sex, as there are more membranes there, but it can also be applied to other areas. 

Some people with penises May also benefit from utilizing THC lube, however, they should put it near the rectum, rather than the head or shaft of the penis, so that it gets absorbed. THC does work with your cannabinoid receptors, the body’s endocannabinoid system. The effect is more local though, so you’re not going to get a full-body high due to the way that it gets absorbed through your membranes.THC also works as a natural vasodilator, as it widens out the vessels, in order to have the blood flow towards your genitals. 

They generally work after around 30 or so minutes after absorption, but the way that it works is based on the weight, and the age of the person on the receiving end. For a lot of people, cannabis lube is a great way to enhance the pleasure that’s there, and if you see it, it’s worth trying. It won’t’ get you high, but it offers varying other effects that are good for the body and sexual function as well.
